This Week at Hannah's

Ken was amazed to discover that it wasn’t the real Elvis that he had hired to play last Friday night. It turned out to be an Elvis impersonator, David Chaney! Oh well, it was a fun night in spite of the miscommunication. Let us know if you favor another Elvis night.

Everyone (except for “I’m-too-tired-and-too-old-to-do-physical-labor-Ken”) has been busy repainting and sprucing the place up for spring. Just in time! It looks like spring is finally here. Was that the worst, longest, coldest, wettest, gloomiest winter on record or what?

Thursday night will be our usual Trivia Mania (7:00 pm) followed by Karaoke (9:00 pm) with Bobby & Sharon Dean. Call for reservations, 357-3655.

Saturday night’s Trivia and Karaoke will be put on hold this week in order for us to celebrate “another candle on Adelle’s cake.” Gary will host this special birthday party for Adelle starting at 7:00 pm. We wouldn’t presume to be crude enough to divulge any lady’s age, let alone Adelle’s. Ken says that she is “only 49.99, plus change.” Don’t be scared away if you’re not part of her party; we’ll be open to the public. You’ll probably meet a few new friends.

Oh Boy! One of our favorite days of the year is just around the corner: Yup, daylight savings time starts next Sunday, March 14. Ken’s clean living will doubtless be rewarded by a warm, sunlit, let’s drink outside day. Inside or outside, we’ll have live entertainment. Local recording artist - and legend! - Wendell Matthews will play from 4:00 until 7:00. Let’s welcome in the fun season with a party that we’ll remember all year long. With any luck, our nightly “blow the conch contest” tradition will resume at our - one-hour-later! – sunset.
